A new software update is now available!
This is a minor Software release addressing two issues reported by our users through the Leikr Forum.

Power off procedure changed from a short press on the two top keys, to a long press still on the two top keys. With this change we should be able to minimize the risk of powering off the device unintentionally while trying to stop and resume a workout.
Bug: the speed was used to be reported wrongly in the history view and now it has been corrected
The new software update will be out shortly.

Good to see another update, even if the content is rather minimal.

My watch says v1.7.20, not v1.7.19 as suggested - is that just a typo, or is there something else in v1.7.20?

Hi,

I also did the update and it shows 1.7.20 i my watch.

The Speed issue seems to be fixed and the shutdown is now much better with the long double press.

Good day,

After updating the software I got a frozen screen.
Just the Leikr logo appears.

I tried to turn it off --> Nothing.
I tried to reset the device by pressing at the same time the four keys --> Nothing.
I, then dry the battery.

When empty, I charged it.
I got the same frozen screen, straight forward.
Not sync is possible (Press keys 1 & 4 at the same time). No reset possible (Press 4 keys at the same time).

I am, then stuck with a ,on usuable Leikr.
Could you help?

sorry to hear about the corruption during Sw update.
Please send a mail to Leikrteam@acornprojects.dk and we will fix the issue on your watch ASAP.

Regarding the numbering of the SW release: we made two subsequent releases of the same software. The correct number is actually 1.17.20. I will now change it in the title.

I strapped on my Leikr and Garmin for my last race of the year - a marathon in South Carolina.

The course was a combination of tree covered roads, the occasional open space as well as trail paths.

The Leikr registered 27.63miles, the Garmin 910XT 26.31miles.
GPS signal acquisition was not an issue and both watches were on Auto-Lap set to 1mile.

The Leikr distance plot is wavy - I am highlighting specific areas between:
miles 1.13 and 1.24, 14.16 and 16.02, 16.21 and Finish.
Elevation data was not representative - the course was mainly flat to mile 16, then a gradual rise to the finish.

I would interested in your feedback as the gap is too much over a marathon.

I experienced the same issues that you see at the end. After about 2 hours, the battery runs out and the accuracy gets very bad.

Since updating to the latest software version (1.17.20), all recorded activities have distance 0m and duration 0s. Of course, the activities did have some non-zero distance and time.

This is very annoying and renders the watch practically useless. What can I do?!

Firstly apologies for the inconvinience.
if I understand you correctly, your watch is able to lock satellites, right?
if so it might be a corruption of the Leikr drive.
please send a mail to Leikrteam@acornprojects.dk, with the title " Watch not able ot save training data". We will assist you in making your watch work again.

first run today with the new update (1.17.20)
and it seems that everything is working well only a few Things to rapport

the avg. pace still jumping back and forward doing my run form 11. to 4. 39 in less than one min.
when i came home and want to save the run nothing was saved only 00.00.00 in all and nothing was update to endomondo

i am still abel to turn the Leikr on and off by only pushing one key but also pushing 2

one wish for the future the likra have min and sec. with big numbers and hours in the corner with small saying 1H
i would like to have hours. min . sec. in same size - thank you in advance
