Team - like most people, I could not get the watch to update to the latest software version.
I succeeded by doing a complete reboot.
It then paired with a footpod and my HRM without hassle.

I went for a run today and as you can see from the Leikr tracks, something was not right.

The Leikr on my left hand (paired to a footpod and HRM) recorded 15.94miles
My Garmin Fenix 2 on my right hand paired only to the HRM, which also gave cadence data) recorded 10.97miles.
The miCoach app on my Sony Ericsson Xperia Active recorded 10.73miles.
Autolap was on.

What is causing the Leikr tracks to go off and wander?

updated to the new version and got this lousy track:

The watch locked to 7 satelites after 1 minute (turned the watch on inside so it should have the GPS assist data).

I'm amazed at how you were able to maintain such a consistently straight track! Especially considering the varied terrain and intervening roads. Quite impressive!

It must have been some kind of skydiving. I have started at 14360 meters above sea level. Quite impressive. Then this straight descent down to 571m (the more realistic altitude). For the record: I've started 22km away from the recorded start point.
*end-sarcasm*

At least one of my most wanted features has been implemented in the latest version.

"The watch now reconnects automatically to paired ANT+ accessories."

And, even better, it just worked. Awesome work (though a bit late).

Just wanted to say that I am enjoying the new auto reconnect of previously paired sensors. Just how it should be.

Also worth mentioning that the Leikr works just fine with the new Garmin magnetless cadence sensor. Still a little bit of polishing required when pedalling has stopped, but otherwise an excellent step forward.

Interesting change from previous firmware version to the current version (1.10.28).
I ran the same route under both firmwares, and found that 1.10.28 returns to satellite fix much quicker than the previous version (1.9.27)
Here's the first time I ran the route on June 5, 2014, using firmware 1.9.27:
http://www.endomondo.com/workouts/352494501

Here's the second time I ran the route on June 19, 2014, using firmware 1.10.28:
http://www.endomondo.com/workouts/360126773

In both instances, I had to pass under a main road (Dublin Blvd) just after the 1 km point going north, and then again on the way back south. The pedestrian underpass is a concrete tunnel that completely blocks GPS signal transmission inside.

Under firmware 1.9.27, Leikr took about 15 seconds to recapture the satellites and re-initiate tracking after I left the tunnel.

Under firmware 1.10.28, Leikr took 2 or 3 seconds at most to recapture satellites and re-initiate tracking after I left the tunnel.

Different route this morning, but it took me under another main road. Same results as on June 19. At 3.7 km and 4.4 km, I passed through a steel-lined pedestrian underpass. Within moments (2 or 3 seconds) after leaving the tunnel, I had the satellite fix again.

This is a nice improvement on satellite lock.

At this point, all of my recent runs have been with Leikr only, no Garmin 305 for comparison. I'm training up for a half marathon on 01 September, and am feeling very confident in Leikr's ability to get me there. I'll do a couple comparisons as I get into longer milage, but it seems Leikr's tracking and data recording reliability is approaching that of any other device I might use. Now to get past the other wrinkles.

This track recorded under best start condition, and that isn't not normal, show the problem after lossed GPS or to low 3-4 satelite.
After refixed the next speed calculations is extrem wrong 60km/h instead real 10km/h. In some cases it does not recognise the stop condition and float around my position.

Thwe sample is made with bicycle low speed 20-25km/h, a sprint at the end, without ANT+.
You see also negative Altitute, in reality ~100m.
http://www.endomondo.com/workouts/363149567/3527931

PS: Some time the first fix takes 10-12min. Here i got it after warm start in 5sec with 4 satelites in view, this is realy fast.

I went out for a lunchtime run today (July 11th). Clear skies, humid and warm.

The Leikr was on my left hand, Garmin Fenix2 on my right.
Autolap was on and both watches had clear view of the skies for about 97% of the workout.

The Leikr recorded 11.21miles, the Fenix2 10.13miles, and miCoach app (on Sony Ericsson Xperia Active) 10.07miles.
The Leikr also lost connectivity to my HRM and footpod around the 3mile mark.

I'm still getting quite mixed results. Sometimes it will find 7-8 satelites in about 10 seconds, and for the whole exercise it runs smoothly and accurate. Then other times, I will have to spend 5 minutes standing completely still, with the result of it only finding 3-4 satelites, and disconnecting 5-6 times during the exercise. I really don't know what to think - I'm more than anything astonished by its ability to be so unstable, producing such mixed results. Really bums me out.
