A new software update is now available!

This software release is focused on two main areas:

Improving the stability of your Leikr watch
Delivering a new Maps Editor
Improving the stability of your watch:

Recently we have seen few of the Leikr members experiencing recoverable issues with file system.
With this release we have hopefully solved the problem and the watch should no longer go into a corrupted state.

Maps editor:

The new maps editor allows the users to select specific areas from a map and determine which maps to upload to the watch.
The users can therefore combine different areas and create their own package.
Available areas are: most of Europe, North America and Australia.

Along with it, we also fixed a bug in the workout editor: we can now create workouts with two subsequent steps based on time duration.

We are looking forward to your feedback on the usability of our new features!

I have made a workout and tried to download to my watch. That worked perfect. Some feedback on the workout editor. Easy to work with on the computer but it would be nice if you could see where you are in your workout on the watch. It shows only for a few seconds when you are going to next step in your workout.
An idea could be that you can see a "countdown" on the screen, meaning that you can how far you are in the program. Could also be a counting up, so you can follow how much you are missing before next step.

Problem with rhis update. GPS is gone! Leikr does not try to get GPS signal. What can I do? Thamks.

@Michael: if you long press "step" in a workout you can see the step you are currently doing. A countdown could be interesting.
@Edward: I believe Peter got in contact with you today. Your problem should be solved by now.

I have been trying to use the workout editor. Still easy to make the steps but when running, I had a bad experience today. I was suppose to warm up for 8 min and the do a 3 k run with a pace between 5:21 & 5:29 and the a 8 in cooldown.
The first 8 min went well (Info on the Watch was 1.52 km done in 8 min) then I started on my 3 k but when the Watch has registrated 3 k in total, it starts my 8 min cooldown. Så my 3 k steady run was only 1.48 k.
The puls was also a little strange. Before my run is says between 180 and 200 bpm (A Little high ) when I did my last run up a hill is says 56 bpm which will be really good. But it was not working and a have tried after my run to see if it was the puls belt but it seems to Work fine with my Garmin.

Regarding pulse: This is the first time we hear that the pulse is not reported correctly (but there is always the first time for everything).
what pulse belt do you use?
is it the only belt you have connected?
can it have low battery?

Hi Cris.

I'm using a Garmin ANT+ belt (From my XT910).
Yes, only belt connected and as said it worked fine on my Gramin after my training when I tested it to see if it got the same problem.
