I had bad GPS tracking on Sunday after updating to 1.7.15. Leikr had been on charge overnight, and got a GPS fix. I waited outdoors for a minute or two for the pace indicator to drop (whilst stationary) to about 30 min/mile.

With Galaxy S3:

9.08 mile (as expected from planning the route)

With Leikr:

11.86 miles (30% over-estimate)

Almost all of the route was near-open fields, but there is some clear instability on the leikr track, if anything getting worse through the run. Around mile 10 is a small area of woodland between some houses, and the signal is near enough lost completely.

hi Tsh,
the tracking your Leikr have recorded is absolutely worthless. We are sorry for the bad experience.
Next time please wait till the pace indicator zeroes.

thanks

I cannot see an improvement on the GPS fix.
I went for a run today and had no Wifi close by. My Leikr was positioned at a pole for around 12 minutes unable to get a fix.
The location was a few hundred kilometers away from the location where I used my watch last.
It was cloudy and it was quite an open space (houses from two sides at least 10-15 meters away) other two sides open towards a park.
I started my run w/o a GPS fix (my iPhone and Garmin Forerunner 305 both had a fix within a minute.
Leikr acquired finally a fix after 2,75km.

Any ideas what I can do to improve that behavior?

We will soon release a new software that should fix the GPS locking issue.
