Hi I've tested the Leikr on 3 runs. Every run is about 15% longer then the measured distance on Endomondo.

You can see my run below, it is obvious that the zig-zag is the big problem.
At about 1,7 km, I switched to map view - you can see on the track that it makes a bigger zig-zag just then. The same happened just before and after 3 km, when I tried to get the zoom right - It goes of track every time it has to "think harder" when switching view.

Hope this can help you - otherwise, fantastic watch - have recommended it for all my running friends i DK and Norway.

Rune,
thank you a lot for the compliments and for recommending the watch to your friends, we really need to go viral with our vision.
Regarding the run you post: it is worse than the average we see. Are you using assist data? do you know if you connect to the Wi-Fi before starting your training?
thanks
Cris

Hi Cris.

I start the watch 10 min before the run. And I have the watch showing insider the house. I should think that I gået assisted.

I strapped on the Leikr (& Garmin 910XT) for a 5km race earlier today.

I have been seeing consistently good correlation between the two watches in terms of distance between the two watches.

Signal acquisition is usually not usually a problem as I warm up as the watch does it thing.
The distances were 3.19miles (Leikr) and 3.12miles (Garmin).
The elevation plots are still a challenge for the Leikr - the course is symmetrical, so the plot from Leikr is not representative.

This iteration of the software is pretty good.
Now it would be cool to get more ANT+ accessories enabled - I am thinking a footpod for cadence data.

Many thanks.
Dr. D.

Dr D.
thanks again for reporting.
Footpod is next in line in the accessories list.
thanks

Before putting any effort into additional ant accessories, please fix the GPS issues first. A GPS watch without solid GPS performance is totally useless! Just my 2 cents...
