An important thing to remember is that GPS alone will never produce good quality altitude readings.
The Garmin and Strava sites look up the altitude on topo maps, and then use that as your actual altitude at each point. I'm assuming other sites do the same.

I've updated to 1.8.23 but now I can't get a satellite fix - there is no satellite icon flashing/visible, just a flat line. Power cycling etc. has no effect.
Any one had a similar issue?

@Jamesg: apologies for the issue, it seems like you got into a corrupted state, please write us a mail at Leikrteam@acornprojects.dk and we will troubleshoot your issue.
@ Gallodoro: Sorry Cornelius for the inconvenience, please try to power cycle the watch and see if it goes back to normal. I tried to access your Endo link but it denies access.

Another Saturday, another long run in Umstead Park.
I continue to see great tracking in terms of distance between the Leikr and my Garmin 910XT.

Auto-lap was set to 1mile, the run had a mixture of tree covered and open sky trails.
The Leikr registered 17.12miles, the Garmin 910XT 16.88miles.
The elevation looks representative compared to previous runs and the gap between the calorie values is narrowing.

Run data....

Many thanks.
