A new software update is now available!
This is a minor software release focused on bringing more stability in two key areas:

- Improving the Wi-Fi connectivity to reduce the number of failed connection attempts.
- Minor bug fixing of the GPS filtering to improve consistency.

The new software update will be out shortly.

Hello,

I have a problem after the update. After a second restart of the watch it stays at the boot screen.

What can I do??

I have the same issue. After the update I can only see the Leikr-boot-screen. Untill it runs out of battery. HELP!

I have managed a walk and a run since updating to v1.8.24 and the results are very encouraging.

In both instances, auto-lap was set at 1mile and my HRM was running with auto-pause off.

Walk:
Leikr (on the left hand) recorded 8.21miles, the Garmin 910XT (on the right hand) recorded 8.21miles.

Run:
Leikr (on the left hand) recorded 25.91miles, the Garmin 910XT (on the right hand) recorded 25.81miles.
This was run on a combination of trails (open to clear skies in places and also covered) and open roads.

I have updated, but every time i connect to server the Leikr downloads new software!! The upload process never finalizes.

What a shitty Update !
ever time a see that there is a new update I get happy update my Leikr and looking forward to my next run with the hope that now is the time it is working !
but every time I end up disappointed.

Since the new update everytime I try to update my work out it says not internet is on this watch please go to Leikr homepage bla bla bla ... I did it yesterday and I did it again to day and now it is the same !
doing my run today the average time is still jumping back and forward form 4.23 till 12.34 in a few meters

I really really love my leikr but I am loosing a little bit of my love every day it is not working so please Leikr team could you please announce a deadline for when does the Leikr working 100%

Hi Claus.

Please try to restore factory settings:
"Menu" -> "Settings" -> "Restore factory settings"

Afterwards you need to add your networks again, using the leikr_config.cnf file.
Please note that your workout history list will be cleared as well, so remember to synchronize the latest workouts to Endomondo/Strava if needed.

Good day,

Since the last update was installed on my device I experimented satellites loss.
Workout starts fine with 6 to 8 locked satellites.
Record is running and then satellite acquisition stop.
No reasons: clear blue sky, no buildings, no high voltage electric lines.......
It happens 2 times in 4.
I never experimented this problem before.

In addition to my post on that topic (See above), I would like to add that today (15 Feb 14) for the first time I experiment strange behaviour: screen was showing speed and heart rate but no distance and pace.

I had to restart the device to fix it.

At the same time I, also, as before add a satellite loss during training.

I needed to restart twice the Leikr to fix it. It is not really practical during training.........
